Additionally, though the shop is primarily a takeaway, those looking for a full dining experience may find the atmosphere too casual for a sit-down meal.
What a great local Chippy. The couple Ray and Amy are very friendly and will cook everything to order. My wife is celiac and they cook all her food in seperate oil. Nothing is a problem. Grilled Fish is my favourite. Highly recommended
I was in Kingston on Wednesday and i fancied a fish and chip lunch, a quick google map too me to The Chip Club. I asked for sausage and chips as there wasnt much left, the owned was there and we chatted , turns out his mum and sister live in basingstoke were i live , a small world moment. He told me fresh chips were cooking so i had to wait 5 mins , which i was happy about , i bought a Fanta pineapple and grapefruit can of drink, i was never a fan of Lilt which apparantly Fanta purchased Lilt. WOW , fantastic drink, very refreshing. The chips were ready so he put a freash load and a unbattered sauage in a box , added salt and vinagar and i said goodbye and went to sit in my car. I am always doubtfull with fish and chips , chips are usually floppy, hard or tasteless or they stick to the paper. OMG, these chips were the best i have had in years , perfect size, stiff to hold, just the right amount of frying and the sausage was also very tasty, normal sausages taste so bland, this was a good one. I have never finished a portion of chips due to do the chips going soggy and sticking to the paper , these were AMAZING. i finshed the lot and i just had to go back into The Chip Club and tell the owner how pleased i was and that i had so enjoyied what he served up. I will defo call in again when i next go to Kingston. FANTASTIC FIND - THANK YOU FOR A GREAT LUNCH

This place is one of the best fish and chips in and around Kingston. It's been my to go, even though I don't live in Kingston or the UK, I come for a visit every few years and I won't get fish and chips from anywhere else except this place. And today they proved to me why I love this place, they're so friendly and nice, the fish and chips is amazing as always.
I was intrigued, having walked past them a number of times whilst taking my daughter for a walk in the afternoon/evenings they often have a small queue of people waiting to collect their orders. So I decided one afternoon I would order from them, going through Google Maps, onto their website I came across their mobile app for ordering and collection. Once arrived, I was noticed by their chef within a few minutes who was very friendly and welcoming, and their other member of staff who directed me to the other window to pick my order of Two Jumbo Sausage and Medium Chips. From the experience I had with them, and the quality of the food when I returned home, I can see why they are a neighbourhood favourite, I would recommend them, and I would order and visit again. Photos were taken when I returned home, due to our current circumstances in lockdown. Thank you The Chip Club for your premium service!
